Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has no plan to resign his place, Mr Simon Imobo-Tswana, his Special Adviser on Media and Communication, has said.

Imobo-Tswam made the clarification in a press launch on Monday in Abuja.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the lack of life toll recorded from Lassa fever so far in 2022 has risen to 165.

The report, which covers January to August 7, 2022, confirmed that there have been 880 confirmed cases and 6126 suspected cases of the an an infection.
