Nigerian actress Kemi Afolabi debunked the rumour that she went to Pastor christ’s church for therapeutic.

She further affirm her faith in Islam, saying she has a personal relationship with Allah, and he or she doesn’t need anyone to get through to him.

In her phrase, she wrote:

Since the data of my illness turned public, I’ve gotten tales of varied misinformation and false narratives available on the market. I’ve ignored as my focus is on my well-being and properly being. I’m a spiritual Muslim who believes in calling on God and searching for his face in situations of need, this I’ve executed always and JOY is for sure inside the End.

Sometime previously, a picture was circulating on-line insinuating that I had visited Christ Embassy Church for therapeutic, I paid no consideration to it because of I didn’t see visiting a church or getting prayers from a pastor as a nasty issue. After all all of us serve related God I think about. Fast forward to Friday, I posted a video of me doing my personal Islamic supplications, @officialeelahandsome dropped a very disturbing comment instantly asking if I had merely remembered that I was a Muslim or the place was Islam after I used to be searching for choices from the Church. Omg I was shocked at how insensitive human might get merely to achieve religion elements which could merely be regarded as blasphemy.

I personally need to use this medium to debunk such false narrative, under no circumstances was there a time that I attended a church for therapeutic, the picture circulating on-line shouldn’t be me and I would love everyone to please disregard it.

I’ve a personal relationship with Allah, I don’t need anyone to get through to him. Love, Light, prayer, help and peace.

Kemi Afolabi.
